Status tracking: Active → Confirmed → Fixed
Share reports with other organizations, services, and agencies
🤝 Our contribution:
Every road should meet a good standard — flat, no bumps, no holes, no big cracks. Comfortable and safe, not damaging vehicles. BetterRoads provides the data to help identify which roads need inspection, classification, and repair to meet that standard.
🚧 How it helps:
See where bad roads are — reported directly by residents
Send inspectors to identify and classify road conditions
Establish and improve road quality standards
Plan and prioritize repairs based on real community data
Build a complete record of road conditions over time
📋 The system — how it should work:
Citizens report — residents identify and report road problems with photos and GPS location
Government reviews — officials see all reports on the map in real time
Inspectors sent — teams are dispatched to inspect and classify each road condition
Standard applied — each road is evaluated: does it meet the standard? Flat, no holes, no cracks, safe, not damaging vehicles
Repairs ordered — all roads that don't meet the standard are scheduled for repair
Status updated — once fixed, the report is marked as resolved on the map
Shared widely — data can be shared with city departments, construction services, emergency services and other agencies who need to act
On September 20, everyone — wherever you are — join with others to clean up the outside area around you. Near any building, house, school, road, street, workspace, beach or park — yours or not.
All companies, private or public, educational institutions, shops, workers, employees and employers — everyone is part of this. Spend 30 minutes to a few hours cleaning streets and areas outside your home, workplace, and local parks. Schools, colleges, and universities are encouraged to join too — it's a great opportunity to teach students about not littering and caring for public spaces.
If this becomes a yearly tradition, cities everywhere could become noticeably cleaner within just a few years. 🌱
Let's all make our cities clean. Let's smile at the clean infrastructure we live in. 😊
